Fwd: Underground food and drink festival, E8
Hi R
(a) It costs £40
(b) It involves booze
(c) It is pitching itself as so intolerably cool I can almost feel the moustaches
Obviously we won’t be able to call ourselves cutting edge any more, never mind.

Dear Compatriots…
Join the movement.
Two Australians have been turning the concept of tasting on its head for the last year. Now they have joined forces with some of London’s edgiest and up-and-coming mixologists, contemporary artists, musicians and designers to take you “Towards a Fluid State”. Eat art, drink music and try things in a way you have not experienced before. These guys have a reputation for showcasing the high-end and hard-to-get, matching all manner of drink with food to rock your world.
There is an uprising in East London.
Say no to boredom, blandness, tastelessness and rigidity. This will push all boundaries of food and drink with a multi-sensory and interactive experience combining elements of design, music, contemporary art and fashion. Think cognac vapour-filled balloons, ‘Spiked Virgins’, and wild punk Geisha boys serving aged brown rice sake matched with Japanese tapas.
It is hosted at a secret warehouse location in Dalston, E8.
There are a limited number of tickets available to this event. Don’t miss out. For the full experience it is recommended you Liberate the State @ £41.50. This includes all 5 fluid encounters from each of the tasting spaces. Towards A Fluid State takes place on Saturday 5th December and you can buy your tickets HERE.’
